2. Process flow

The handling sequence for a 888 file, from first consultation to decision. Each step assumes the one before it is genuinely finished - not "mostly done".

Confirm the 188 basis
Only existing 188 holders can apply. Identify the client's 188 stream - the 888 requirements are stream-specific.
Evidence the benchmarks
Business turnover, employment created, ownership span and personal/business assets (Innovation stream) or maintained complying investments (Investor streams), plus residence requirements.
Lodge and manage
Financials, BAS statements and accountant-prepared evidence carry the case.
Decision and briefing
PR on grant; brief on RRV and citizenship clocks.

Outcome: The application was refused, and the refusal must now be declared on every future application, for any country.
