Syria - where they emigrate

The world's largest protracted refugee crisis for over a decade. After 14 years of war, 13M+ Syrians have been forced from their homes, including ~6.1M registered refugees at end-2024 - overwhelmingly hosted in Türkiye, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq and Egypt, with Germany the largest non-regional host. This is a HUMANITARIAN corridor: refugees enter via asylum, regional temporary protection and (rarely) UNHCR resettlement, so the paid service-fee pool is minimal. Since the December 2024 fall of the Assad regime the corridor has partly REVERSED: ~1.3M returned in 2025, cutting the global refugee total to ~4.9M by end-2025.

Key insightThis is a HUMANITARIAN corridor with a near-zero paid-visa fee pool: refugees enter via free temporary protection (Türkiye), UNHCR registration (Lebanon/Jordan) or asylum (Germany/Sweden) - not fee-paying visas. The action in 2025 is REVERSAL: ~1.3M returned post-Assad. VisaChief value is in return/reintegration support, family reunification and the small resettlement pipeline, not visa sales.
